Award–Winning Member Experience

Last week, publications of the California Grand Lodge received national accolades during the Association Media and Publishing 2012 Annual Meeting.

The Masons of California Facebook page received a silver EXCEL Award in the Media Innovation category for Social Media Strategy and California Freemason magazine received a bronze EXCEL Award for general excellence among publications.

Association Media and Publishing judges received more than 1,000 entries for this year’s EXCEL awards competition. “The entries we received this year really illustrate the trends prevalent in this industry. The EXCEL Awards honor those who are pioneering ideas in association media, and this year’s winners certainly deserve to be recognized,” said Amy Lestition, CAE, Association Media & Publishing Executive Director.

Leslie McGee, EXCEL Awards chair, said, “This year’s winners are breaking new ground and challenging boundaries with tremendous creativity. We applaud their ingenuity.”

This is the ninth year that the California Grand Lodge has received EXCEL Award recognition.
