In honor of Public Schools Month this April, the California Masonic Foundation donated a total of $147,000 to three California school districts.
Grand Lodge leaders presented the donations – $49,000 per district – at Public Schools Month Kickoff events hosted by each school district: Pasadena Unified, San Francisco Unified, and San Diego Unified. Grand Master Bill Bray, Deputy Grand Master Frank Loui, and Junior Grand Warden John Cooper presented, respectively.
The donations fund the Investment in Success Scholarship Program, recently created to help deserving – but often overlooked – high school seniors obtain a higher education and access to life opportunities.
The events demonstrate the fraternity’s commitment to make a profound difference for California public schools.
More than 250 students, Masons, district representatives, and members of the community attended.
