Congratulations Grand Master Galloway!

During a historic ceremony at the California Masonic Memorial Temple in San Francisco on Sunday, October 15, Bruce R. Galloway was installed as grand master of Masons in California.

Most Worshipful Galloway is a two-time past master of Reading Lodge No. 254 in Redding and has been a Master Mason for 31 years. In 2008, his lodge honored him with a Hiram Award – the most prestigious recognition that a lodge can bestow upon one of its members, recognizing extraordinary service to the lodge and community.

Since 2008, Most Worshipful Galloway has provided invaluable guidance in a variety of leadership roles within the Grand Lodge of California. In addition to serving as an inspector and assistant grand lecturer, he has also served on the boards of trustees of the California Masonic Foundation, Masonic Homes of California, Nob Hill Masonic Center, California Masonic Memorial Temple, and Acacia Creek Retirement Community.

Most Worshipful Galloway is active in York Rite Masonry and is a Knight of the York Cross of Honor. He is a member of Saint Francis Conclave – Knights of the Red Cross of Constantine and Ben Ali Shrine Temple. He is also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Sacramento, Orient of California.

A veteran of the United States Army, he has enjoyed a longtime career in the wireless telephone industry. He lives in Redding with his wife, Gay, and has two adult children.
