159th Annual Communication registration form
Hotel and Banquet Packages
A limited number of hotel and banquet packages are available at the Fairmont Hotel (one block from CMMT) and the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway Hotel (five blocks away on Van Ness Avenue). The standard package includes Friday and Saturday night lodging at one of the two hotels and two tickets to the Grand Master's banquet. Additional nights lodging can be arranged. See the order form for more information.
If you do not purchase a hotel and banquet package, make hotel reservations early. September is a busy tourist month and hotel reservations may be limited. For the best hotel information, visit the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau Web site at www.onlyinsanfrancisco.com.

Grand Lodge Opening Session -
Memorial Temple Auditorium 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
The 159th Annual Communication opens with the formal entrance of Grand Lodge officers. The agenda includes Board and Committee reports, The Grand Master's message and beginning of legislation.
Master Masons who hold a 2008 dues receipt may attend any session of the Grand Lodge. Attire: Business suit
Rededication Ceremony for the California Masonic Memorial Temple 5:00 p.m.
The 50th anniversary of the opening of the CMMT will be celebrated with a rededication ceremony conducted by Grand Lodge officers. This historic event will include displays and special commemorative souvenirs, and is open to all Masons and guests as well as the public. Reception immediately follows.
Saturday, September 27
Grand Lodge Session -
Memorial Temple Auditorium 8:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. (lunch break 12-1)
The day's agenda includes the Grand Oration, completion of legislation, election of Grand Lodge Officers, and approval of the Grand Lodge budget and per capita. Attire: Business suit
Ladies' and Family Brunch-Fairmont Hotel 10:30 a.m.
Judi Hopper, wife of the Grand Master, invites the ladies and family members to a special brunch that includes a cake decorating demonstration by the pasty chef for the Fairmont. Attire: Dressy casual
Grand Master's Banquet - Fairmont Hotel
Join Grand Master Hopper for an evening of fellowship and celebration at the world-renowned Fairmont Hotel. No-host social begins at 6:30 p.m.; dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. Attire is formal: Tuxedo or dark business suit for men; long or tea-length formal or dressy pant suit for ladies
Sunday, September 28
Public Ceremonies - Memorial Temple Auditorium 9:30 a.m.
Masons and their families and guests are invited to the public ceremonies, which include the Masonic youth organizations' annual message and the Grand Master's Youth Support Award. Attire: Business suit for men; short dress or pant suit for ladies.
Installation of Grand Lodge Officers - Memorial Temple Auditorium 11:00 a.m.
The Installation of the 2008/2009 Grand Lodge Officers is open to all Masons, family, and friends. Reception immediately follows in the Great Hall. Attire: Business suit for men; short dress or pant suit for ladies.
