166th Annual Communication

October 9-11, 2015
San Francisco

The Grand Lodge of California will hold its 166th Annual Communication this year. Please join us for this special celebration at the California Masonic Memorial Temple in San Francisco.

Online registration

Guests who wish to purchase event tickets or lodging must
register online.
(Note: Do not register online if you are only planning to attend the business sessions.)

If you are a Grand Lodge officer (current, past, or 2015-2016), past grand masters, inspectors, inspectors at large, or visitor from other jurisdiction, you must register through the personalized link that has been emailed to you. If you have not received this email, contact Member Services for assistance.

All other lodge officers, past masters, members of committees and boards, and Master Masons may register through the email invitation you received, or by clicking here.

Business sessions/legislation

Business sessions will take place on Friday from 1:00-5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. If your lodge master and wardens are unable to attend, consider electing a delegate to carry your lodge's votes. (Refer to CMC §403.005.)

Social events

A number of social events have been planned to make Annual Communication memorable for you and your family, including:

  • Saturday afternoon, Linda Charvonia invites ladies and friends to an exciting "Top Masonic Chef" cook-off. Executive chefs from the Masonic Home at Covina, Masonic Home at Union City, and Acacia Creek will compete for bragging rights - and will treat guests to a delicious luncheon.
  • SOLD OUT: Saturday evening, join Grand Master Russell E. Charvonia and his wife, Linda, for "A Night at the Derby." Experience the classic, yet casual elegance of the Kentucky Derby during the 1940s and 50s as you socialize with fellow members of the fraternal community and celebrate the accomplishments of the past year.

Lodging - designed to accommodate a range of budgets - may be selected through the online registration form (see above). If you choose to make your own hotel arrangements, it is recommended that you do so early. October is a busy tourist month and lodging options may be limited.
